Guerrette 11th At Boston 10K

Maine runner Tracy Guerrette finished 15th in the women's division of the B.A.A. 10K Race in Boston Sunday morning.

Guerrette's time was 36:08 and that was second best in her agegroup and 11th out of 4,572 women runners.

Mary Wacera from Kenya finished tops among women in a time of 31:55. Gabriel Geay from Tanzania was the overall race winner at 28:24. There were over 8.000 runners in the event.

Guerrette has been spending much of the racing season doing short runs, working on her times as she preps for a fall marathon.

NOTE: Guerrette returned to Boston to race for the first time since the April Boston Marathon. In the wind, rain and cold Guerrette ran with the elite runners and finished in 25th place and tops among Mainers.
