Hawks vs Trojans On 92.9 The Ticket
The last time the Hermon Hawks and MDI Trojans met on the hardwood it was at the Cross Center and the Class B North Regional championship was on the line.
Hermon was the #1 seed and MDI was #2. The Hawks won the game 51-38 and went on to win the state title.
Fast forward to tonight.
The first of two regular season games between these to power programs. Hermon is ranked #1 with an 11-0 record. MDI is #3 with an 8-2 mark.

The Hawks have great balanced scoring. Kent Johnson and Isaac Varney averaging about 13 PPG. Garrett Trask and Cody Hawes score about a dozen points per game.
The Trjoans featured the Big East Conference leading scorer and rebounder in Derek Collin. He is averaging 23 PPG and almost 12 RPG. And, dishes over four assists per game. Drew Shea is averaging a double-double as well.
No matter what happens in tonight's game, the two teams will meet again in 12 days in Bar Harbor.
