Congratulations to MDI High School's Avery Norwood who was voted Big East Girls Player of the Week for Week 8 by the Big East Coaches.

Avery played in 2 games, scoring 48 points and ripping down 14 rebounds while dishing out 4 assists and had 3 steals.
