The Cleveland Cavs have the Boston Celtics on the brink of elimination and Kyrie Irving is one of the biggest reasons why this is so. Last night's 112-99 victory by the Cavs showcased what Irving is all about.

The C's had a double-digit first half lead. LeBron was on the bench with four fouls. The Cleveland arena was quiet.

And the Irving took over, scoring 19 points in less than five minutes.

He kept it going in the second half and finished with 42 points.

LeBron added 34 points and what was just a so-so game for him.

But the the Celtics couldn't stop the Cavs in that second half - Cleveland shot 71% from the floor.

Game over.

Avery Bradley had 19 and Jae Crowder added 18 for Boston.

Game four is Thursday night back in Boston. The Celtics must win to keep the series alive. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket starts at 8pm.
