Lackey Goes Distance In Sox Win [VIDEO]

John Lackey pitched the Red Sox into the playoffs with a dominating complete game 2-hitter with 8 strikeouts in a 3-1 win over Baltimore.The win clinches at least a wildcard spot for Boston who can wrap up the division with a win or Tampa Bay loss on Friday.

Lackey has not received much support from the offense this season but didn't need much on this night as he improved to 10-12 on the season. Stephen Drew led the Sox at the plate with 2 hits including his 13th homerun and 2 rbi.
