Legion Tourney: Bangor Vs Bessey On The Ticket

For the fifth time in 2018 Bangor and Oxford Hills will match up on the baseball diamond. And, this one is today at 4pm with the winner moving into the American Legion state title game at 7pm.

Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket has live coverage from the John Winkin Complex at Husson University in Bangor.

Back in May during the high school season, the Vikings (Bessey Motors) beat the Rams (Coffee News Comrades) in the one regular season matchup in South Paris. They met at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor for the KVAC championship won again.

The third matchup was at Morton Field in Augusta for the Class A North Region championship. Bangor's Tyler Parke hit that walk-off grand slam to win it for Bangor.

The fourth meeting was three days ago in the second round of the Legion State Tournament. Bangor won that one 5-0.

Perhaps we can call this a best-of-five thing. With the series tied 2-2 who wins the fifth matchup?
