The awards keep coming in for Camden Hills High School soccer. Longtime girls coach Meredith Messer has been named National Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).

Messer guided Windjammers to a fourth straight Class A state championship this fall and have a 69 game win streak that will carry over to this fall.

Messer is a math teacher at Camden Hills and has been coaching for 25 years.

She is in Baltimore this weekend to receive the United Coaches Association Region 1 Coach of the Year award.

Kristina Kelly is also there to received the National Schoolgirl Player of the Year honor from United Coaches Association.
