Montigny Joins 1000 Point Club

Ellsworth High School senior Trinity Montigny joins the 1000 point club for schoolgirl basketball. She hit the mark Wednesday night in a win over Foxcroft Academy.

Montigny needed 14 points to reach 1000 and went on to have a career-high 42 points against the Ponies.

She becomes just the second girls player to reach 1000 points in school history (Lynne Wescott) and the second Eagles player to reach the mark in the last week (Jackson Curtis scored his 1000th point last Saturday).

NOTE: Montigny and Curtis will make it 10 players in Eagles history to reach the 1000 point mark.
