NCAA Regional: Ephs Beat Eagles [VIDEO]

At the NCAA Division III Softball Regional Williams College blanked Husson University 6-0 in the opening round game.

While the Eagles managed just two hits of Ephs pitcher MacKenzie Murphy, Williams hitters were pounding out 10 hits and scoring in the first four innings. Two-time NESCAC Player of the Year, Lexi Curt, had a home run and double for the Ephs.

Jen Jones pitched the complete game for the Eagles. Five of the six runs were earned.

NOTE: Amherst beat Western New England 2-0 in the other game at the regional. That sets up a Husson vs WNE loser's bracket game at 1:30pm Saturday.
