Old Town LL Run At States Ends

The Old Town Little League 11/12s All Stars bid to win the state championship ended last night with a 13-4 loss to Lewiston.

The two LL teams were competed to see which one would face Saco in the championship round.

Lewiston broke open a 1-1 game with five runs in the 3rd inning and had another five run inning in the 6th.

Lewiston faces Saco today at 5pm at the host site in Machias. Lewiston would have to beat Saco twice in order to win the state title.

Old Town finishes state tourney play with a 2-2 record.
