With the majority of the organizations top prospects in triple-A and single-A the Portland Sea Dogs had struggled to find consistency, but are now stringing together wins.Sunday's 4-2 win over the New Britain Rock Cats not only won the series but also gave the Dogs their first 3-game win streak of the season. Portland has also won 7 of their last 11 games on the road.

Much of the streak can be credited to pitchers William Cuevas, Kyle Martin and Justin Haley who all had solid performances over the weekend. Tim Roberson was hot at the plate going 9-15 in the series with 8 runs batted in.

Next up for the Sea Dogs is an 8-game homestand  starting Tuesday against the Altoona Curve.
