The Boston Red Sox have finished last in the AL East three of the last four seasons and the team is now going to charge fans more to see them in 2016.The Sox have announced that they are going to keep the price of tickets the same as they were this season but only if they are purchased before December 31. At that point 12 of the 22 non-premium sections will see an increase of 1.4 percent over last years prices.

"We recognize the significant commitment and contribution our fans make to this club, especially our season ticket holders," said Red Sox EVP/Chief Operating Officer Sam Kennedy. "Our goal each season is to provide value to our fans while continuing to invest in the team and to improve Fenway Park. Preserving 2015 prices for those who purchase tickets early reflects this important balance."

Areas that will not see price increases include the Budweiser Right Field Roof Deck, Right Field Roof Box Terrace, Upper Bleachers, and all Standing Room.
