The Boston Red Sox are moving on to the ALCS after beating and eliminating Tampa Bay 3-1 on Tuesday night.After the Rays took a one nothing lead in the bottom of the 6th inning the Boston bullpen shut the door and got just enough offense to pull out the win. Craig Breslow, Junichi Tazawa & Koji Uehara allowed just one hit and struck out seven over the final 3.1 innings. The Sox tied the game when Xander Bogaerts scored on a wild pitch before Jacoby Ellsbury came home on a Shane Victorino infield single. Boston added an insurance run in the 9th from a Dustin Pedroia sacrifice fly to make it 3-1.
