National League MVP Giancarlo Stanton will become a New York Yankee, if he agrees to it.

Multiple reports have the Yankees and Miami Marlins agreeing to a trade. Now Stanton must waive his no-trade clause.

The Yanks have agree to pick up $265 million of the $295 million dollars left on Stanton's contract. The Marlins would get second baseman Starling Castro and two minor leaguers.

Stanton would join Aaron Judge and form a power lineup not often seen. He hit 59 home runs last year while Judge hit 52.

It is interesting that former Yankee SS Derek Jeter is the Marlins guy dealing with his formmer GM, Brian Cashman, on this move.
