The Boston Celtics have made a living at coming back from double digit deficits this season. That was not the case Friday night in a 102-98 loss to Houston.

The loss also stopped the Celtics home winning streak at 14 games as the team could never overcome a poor shooting night that saw them finish at 37%.

James Harden has the best game of the night with a 32 point performance and scored the Rockets last 8 points of the game. Dwight Howard chipped in with double-double that included 12 points and 12 rebounds. Michael Beasley had a strong game for the Rockets as well with 18 points on the night.

After the Celtics got down by 11 points in the third quarter they began their comeback and eventually cut the lead to 2 points but could never get over the hump. Isaiah Thomas led Boston with 30 points but also committed 5 of the teams 15 turnovers. The Celtics were also outscored in the paint 60-46 which all led to their first loss at the Garden since January 6.

Boston is now off until Tuesday when they play at Indiana.
