Theriault Wins Daytona ARCA Race

Talk about your great debuts...Fort Kent's Austin Theriault is a winner at Daytona Speedway in his first ARCA race for the Kenny Schrader Racing Team.

Theriault started the race in 9th place in his #52 Chevy and stayed near the front of the pack all day. That allowed him to avoid a bunch of multi-car wrecks.

Theriault took over the lead on lap 73 and after the 75th lap the race was halted because of damage to the safer barrier that helps protect drivers when they hit the walls at Daytona. Race officials called the race complete with just four laps to go and Theriault got the win.
