UMass Lowell Hockey East Champs [VIDEO]

For the third time in five years, the UMass Lowell River Hawks are Hockey East Tournament champs and heading to the NCAAs. UML wins a 4-3 nail-biter over Boston College.

The NCAA will anounce its 16-team playoff field at noon on Sunday. Hockey East is expected to get four teams in the tourney.

UMass Lowell, BU, Notre Dame and Providence.

USCHO.com is predicting Boston College will not make the field.

Former UMaine captain Jim Montgomery and his Denver Pioneers are expected to be the #1 seed for the NCAAs.
