The Bangor All Star baseball team will be host team for the upcoming Senior League World Series at Mansfield Stadium. Bangor won the District #3 championship with a 4-0 record, including a 3-2 win over Bronco League All Stars in the title game...

The Bangor Senior League all star baseball team is back in the the Senior League World Series after getting past the Bronco League all stars 3-2. It is Bangor's first District #3 title since 2010.

And now it is down to just two...the Bangor All Stars versus the Bronco League(Hampden,Hermon,Winterport) All Stars. The winner goes directly to the Senior League World Series that starts this weekend at Mansfield Stadium.

The Bangor Senior League all star baseball team is just one win away from the upcoming World Series at Mansfield Stadium. Bangor got past the Bronco LL team, winning 2-1 and earning the right to play in the District #3 championship game Tuesday.

Bangor and Bronco(Hampden) Senior League All Star baseball teams got through the first weekend of District #3 tournament play with 2-0 records and meet Sunday in a winner's bracket matchup.

In just three weeks the Senior League World Series returns to Bangor for the 12th consecutive year.

Former UMaine Black Bear Mike Connolly played in his first pro game Wednesday night. He pitched two-thirds of a inning for the SF Giants minor league team in the Arizona Rookie League.

You can add Panama and Italy to the list of international teams coming to Bangor for next month's Senior Little League World Series. The 15 and 16-year-old team from Panama won the Latin America regional. Italy won the Europe & Africa regional.

The Senior Little League baseball team from the Philippines will represent the Asia-Pacific region at next month's World Series in Bangor - the first of 10 teams that will play from August 11th through the 17th at Mansfield Stadium. The Senior League level is age 14-16.

Philadelphia Phillies slugger Domonic Brown now leads the National League with 18 home runs. When he played at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor as a 16-year-old, he was best known as a pitcher.
