4 Black Bears Score In Double Figures As UMaine Women Beat Hartford

The Black Bears opened up the America East Conference schedule with an 87-73 win against Hartford (0-14) Thursday night at the Cross Insurance Center.

Kelly Fogarty made seven three pointers and scored a game high 23 points for UMaine, Maddy McVicar added a new career scoring all 20 of her points in the second half, Maeve Carroll had 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

The Bears had 26 assists on 34 made baskets in the win.
