Chase For GBO Title Begins [SCORES]

Round one of the 51st Greater Bangor Open golf tournament begins today. Defending champ Jesse Larson will tee off about 9:18am.

About 100 golfers will compete over the next three days for the $9,000 first place prize.

Vermont's Jesse Larson returns to defend his 2016 GBO title. His course record tying round of 60 (9-under par) helped him get first place prize money a year ago.

Pennsylvania pro Mike Van Sickle shot at 60 in the 2014 GBO and he's in the field too.

In fact, the two record breaker golfers will play the first two rounds in the same group. They tee off at 9:18am Thursday morning.
