AE Tourney: UMaine Wins Quarterfinal [VIDEO]

The UMaine women's basketball team scored a come-from-behind quarterfinal round win over Binghamton Saturday afternoon, 57-40, and that moves the Black Bears into a semi-final round game vs New Hampshire today.

Maine was trailing Binghamton by five points in the third quarter and then went on a 21-9 run to score the victory.

Senior Sigi Koizar led the Bears with 16 points.

UNH beat Stony Brook 58-49 in its quarterfinal round game.

The American East first two rounds are being played at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.
