Am East Tourney: Black Bears #2 Seed

The University of Pacific scored with three minutes left in the game to knock UMaine out of the America East Tournament by a 3-2 score in the quarterfinal round.

Pacific scored twice in the first half but two Black Bear goals by Libby Riedl got the game tied 2-2.

But in the final minutes Pacific's leading scorer, Kriekie van Wyk, scored to regain the lead and get the win.

The Black Bears finish the season at 12-6. Pacific moves on to the semi-final vs Stanford.

The America East champ gets the automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament.
