Battle Of #1 Vs #2 Goes To Broncos [SCORES]

The Hampden Broncos scored their 12th straight win Monday afternoon. This one a 68-59 win over #2 ranked Edward Little HS.

In the much anticipated battle of #1 vs #2 in Class A, the Broncos jumped out to a six point lead after one quarter and at halftime.

Hampden extended that lead to 11 after three quarters and then hit 17 of 19 free throws in the fourth quarter to put the game away.

Junior Nick Gilpin went 12-for-12 from the line in the fourth to help ice it. He finished with 26 points.

Ian Mileikis led the Red Eddies with 23.

So the Broncos improve to 12-1. EL drops to 12-1. The two teams meet again in Auburn next Monday.
