The UMaine Black Bears have wrapped up at least a share of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title and control their own destiny for the outright championship.

While Chris Ferguson was tossing four touchdown passes and the Bears were beating Richmond 28-9 Saturday, both Delaware and Elon  lost. That leaves (6-1 CAA, 7-3) Maine as the only team with just one conference loss.

The Black Bears will host Elon (NC) next Saturday at noon. A win gives them the CAA title. A loss makes them co-champions.

Either way, it appears the Bears are headed to the NCAA playoffs.
