Bears Win Season Finale, #5 Seed AE Tourney

The UMaine baseball team won a 2-1 pitching duel vs Albany in the regular season finale Saturday afternoon. That win, combined with other America East action, puts the Black Bears as the #5 seed for next week's conference tournament.

The opponent will be the Albany Great Danes as the #4 seed.

The Bears and Danes will play the first game of the tourney, Wednesday at 11am.

Maine finishes the season with a 21-27 record (8-12 AE).
