Bec, Schwanz America East All Conference

UMaine baseball got a handful of America East awards at the pre-tournament banquet in Lowell, Massachusetts. Two Black Bears made AE second team honors - catcher Christopher Bec and OF Tyler Schwanz.

Two Bears were named to the AE Rookie Team - 1B Hernan Sardinas and P Cody Lawyerson. Maine's Caleb Kerbs was named to the AE All-Academic team.

NOTE: The Black Bears open the 6-team double elimination tourney Wednesday morning at 11am. The Bears are the #5 seed and the opponent is #4 seed Albany.
