The Yankees scored seven runs off Clay Buchholz in the first inning and went on to pound the Red Sox in Sunday Night Baseball 14-4. Buchholz lasted 3.1 innings, giving up 9 earned runs, 9 hits that included 2 home runs.

For the Sox, Hanley Ramirez hit another home run. Xander Bogaerts and Pablo Sandoval each had two hits.

Now they come back home with a 4-2 record for the Fenway opener today at 3pm.
