Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens keeps trying new starting lineups and so far whatever he goes with it seems to be working.

Friday night vs the Philadelphia 76ers, rookie Jayson Tatum got the starting assignment with Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, et al as the Celtics got off to a terrific start to their 110-102 win.

Tatum finished with 9 points and 5 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.

Kyrie Irving led the C's with 21 points as Stevens gave a lot of players game action. 13 different Boston players scored at least one point.

For the young Philly team, #1 draft pick Markelle Fultz did not play. He's the guy the Celtics passed on when they traded down to #3 and selected Tatum in the draft.

The C's and 76ers play again Monday night.
