In a bid to win a fourth consecutive North Atlantic Conference golf title, the Husson Eagles came up 12 strokes short. State University of New York (SUNY) Delhi knocks of the Eagles and wins the NAC Championship

Husson trailed SUNY Delhi by 16 strokes after Saturday's first round. Eagles junior Eric Dugas (MCI) led the charge back, firing a 2-under par 68 and finished as medalist of the NAC tourney with a two-day total of 5-over par (145).

Freshman Chris Kauppila (Old Town HS) finished in 5th place in individual scoring. That is tops among rookies in the field.

SUNY Delhi won the title with five players finishing in the top 11, including Daniel Christy who finished two strokes behind Dugas.

Thomas College finished in third place.
