The Husson Eagles are out of the NAC Baseball Tournament after losing two close games in round two Sunday. A 10-inning loss to New England College and then a one run loss to Castleton.

The Eagles finish the tournament 1-2 and finish the season at 22-20.

GAME 1:  A 5-5 game went into the 10th inning when NEC scored three times. An Evan Delaney single scored two runs and an Andrew Castanos single scored another...Both teams collected eight hits...The Eagles could not take full advantage of seven errors by the Pilgrims. NEC wins 8-5.

GAME 2: In the Husson vs Castleton elimination game the Spartans jumped out to a 4-0 lead only to see the Eagles come back and score three in the 8th inning. But, Husson left the bases loaded and it turned out to be their last chance to rally. Castleton wins 4-3.

NOTE: NEC plays Castleton for the tourney championship on Monday. NEC needs just one win. The Spartans would need to beat the Pilgrims twice.
