Eagles Host NAC Doubleheader On 92.9 The Ticket

A big North Atlantic Conference basketball doubleheader tonight at Newman Gymnasium at Husson University. The Eagles host Colby-Sawyer with games at 5:30pm and 7:30pm.

5:30pm (5-1 Husson Women vs (4-1) Colby Sawyer: These two teams have one thing in common - they both lost to top ranked Castleton. That means taking another conference makes it tough to catch the Spartans.

Husson junior guard Kenzie Worcester is coming off a week in which she won most every regional award you can win. She is averaging 20 points, five rebounds per game and shooting 51% from the field.

Former Oxford Hills HS standout Tianna Sugars is leading the Chargers in scoring, 13.5 points per game.

7:30pm (6-0) Husson Men vs (5-0) Colby-Sawyer: There are only two unbeaten teams left in the NAC and they meet tonight.

Raheem Anderson leads the Eagles, scoring 22 points per game. Justin Martin is almost in double-double territory, 9.6 PPG and 8.5 RPG.

The Chargers are led by Patrick Coffey (16 PPG) and Dana Bean (15 PPG).
