Cross country is seven years old as a program at Husson University and now the Eagles are first time North Atlantic Conference champions.

And the men's team won the title after being picked 6th in the pre-championship poll.

Zach Hartman finished in 5th place and Joel Bond finished 7th to help bring home the team title. Ricky Smith, Patrick Welch and Reece Rodrique all finished in the top 20 and the Eagles finished with 65 points.

Maine Maritime Academy was runner up with 72 points.

Thomas College runner Jarrod Ottman at 27:26.80.

The Eagles now compete in the NCAA D-III Northeast Regional at Bowdoin College on November 10th.

NOTE: The Husson women's XC team placed second at the NACs. UMaine Farmington won the conference title.
