Five Sea Dogs Selected For All-Star Game

When the Portland Sea Dogs host the Eastern League All-Star game later this month 5 of their own players will be in uniform.The Eastern League released rosters for this years game and they included Portland pitchers William Cuevas and Robby Scott who will play in the game for the second time in as many years.

Most of the Sea Dogs infield will also be on the team with first baseman Jantzen Witte, shortstop Marco Hernandez and third baseman Carlos Asuaje all getting selected.

Sea Dogs manager Billy McMillon and his staff will lead the Eastern roster against the Western team which features Major League Baseball's all-time save leader Lee Smith as their pitching coach.

The game will be played on Wednesday July 15 at 7pm and will be the third hosted at Hadlock Field by Portland.
