For the second game in a row, the Red Sox had a really big inning to put away the Chicago White Sox, 9-2.

This time it was the 8th inning and the Sox scored seven runs. The big hit was a Xander Bogaerts grand slam...

Mitch Moreland added a couple of hits and two RBI. J.D. Martinez and Eduardo Nunez drove in runs.

On the mound, Rick Porcello pitched well but did not get a decision. He left after six innings, giving up just two solo home runs.

Brandon Workman pitched the 7th inning and got credit for the win.
