Higgins 2 TDs, Bapst Gets First Win

John Bapst senior QB JJ Higgins threw for one touchdown and ran for another as the Crusaders beat Old Town 25-14 Friday night.

It's the first victory for Bapst (1-2). The Coyotes drop to 0-3.

Higgins hit Steve Fitzpatrick on a TD pass with two minutes to go before halftime and the Crusaders had a 12-8 lead. In the fourth quarter, Higgins scored on a 45-yard run play.

Bapst tailback Jack Dalton also ran for two touchdowns and 76 yards.

Old Town quarterback Hunter Brasslett ran for a TD and threw for a score.
