Hockey East: It’s BC Vs UML [VIDEO]

It will be Boston College vs UMass-Lowell tonight for the Hockey East Tournament Championship and the NCAA automamtic bid.

The Eagles took down Boston University 3-2 in one semi-final game Friday night. The River Hawks pounded Notre Dame 5-1 in its semi-final.

According to the Pairwise Rankings, UMass-Lowell is solid to get an NCAA at-large bid but BC may need to win the title game tonight to get in the NCAAs.

The Hockey East title game is 7pm tonight at Boston Garden.

NOTE: Former UMaine captain Jim Montgomery's #1 ranked Denver Pioneers lost to North Dakota 1-0 Friday night in the NCHC semi-final round. Montgomery and his team will be in the NCAAs with a 27-7-4 record.
