A former NBA guard and son of longtime pro Paul Pressey, Phil played two seasons with Boston and even made a brief appearance with Maine back in 2014-15.

After wrapping up a playing career that included time overseas and 148 NBA games, Pressey has spent the last two seasons as a player enhancement coach with the Celtics and now becomes the franchise’s 11th head coach — and the first to have also played for the team.
