Ellsworth Boys Beat Brewer 2-1 Ellsworth Girls Fall to Brewer 3-2

The Ellsworth Girls and Boys Soccer Teams traveled to Brewer to play the Witches at Doyle Field on Thursday, October 12th.

In the Boys' Game, the Ellsworth Eagles won 2-1. The game was broadcast on Ticket TV

Cooper Mitchell and Jackson Barry split time in goal for Ellsworth, while Grady Vanidestine was in net for the Witches.

In the JV Game, Brewer beat Ellsworth 2-1. Ellsworth's goal was scored by Caleb Jordan.

Brewer is now 4-6-2 with 2 games left in the regular season. They host Skowhegan on Saturday, October 14th at 11 a.m. and then finish the regular season on Tuesday, October 17th when they host Bangor at 4 p.m.

Brewer jumped out to a 3-0 lead on goals by Ainslee Goodwin, Madison Shaq and Reece McKenney.

Ellsworth tried to claw back and just came up short. Ellsworth had goals by Lily Bean and Mia Coffin.

Brewer is now 2-8-2 and has 2 games left in the regular season, both on the road. They travel to Skowhegan on Saturday, October 14th to play the Riverhawks and go across the Penobscot to play the Bangor Rams on Tuesday, October 17th at 6 p.m.

Ellsworth is now 10-2-1 with 1 game left in the regular season. They host MDI on Tuesday, October 17 at Del Luce Stadium at 6 p.m.
