Ellsworth Girls Remain Unbeaten – Beat Hermon 74-50 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team remain unbeaten, beating the Hermon Hawks 74-50 in Hermon on Tuesday, January 23rd.

Ellsworth led 28-16 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 44-24 at the end of the 1st Half. The Eagles led 62-37 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was on-fire from beyond the 3-point arc, draining 13 3's on the night. Elizabeth Boles led the way with 6 3-pointers. Grace Jaffray and Elise Sargent each had 2 3-pointers and Abby Radel, Cam Clough and Addison Atherton each had a 3-pointer.

Jaffray led the scoring attack for Ellsworth, finishing with 21 points. Boles had 20 points and Radel had 13 points. Ellsworth was 11-19 from the free throw line.

Hermon was led by Bella Bowden who had 16 points while Brooke Gallop had 14 points including 2 3-pointers. The Hawks were 6-8 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth now 14-0 will host Presque Isle on Friday, January 26th at 6 p.m. and then Caribou on Saturday, January 27th at 1 p.m. Both those games will be live-streamed by our sister station 92.9 The Ticket on Ticket TV

Hermon is now 1-10. They play at Presque Isle on Wednesday, January 24th at 4 p.m.
