The Royals score a run off Heath Hembree in the 12th. Eduardo Nunez hit a homer in the bottom of the 12th to tie it.

In the 13th, Brian Johnson gave up a bomb to Soler to make it 7-4 KC.

In the bottom of the 13th, the Sox scored twice but could not get the tying run. Game over.
