Kings Of Two Out, Sox Win Again [VIDEO]
The Red Sox strike two-out lightning again and beat the Dodgers 4-2 in game two of the World Series. That means two wins away for a World Championship.
Trailing 2-1 in the 5th inning, Christian Vazquez started everything with a base hit. Before you know it, the bases are loaded and J.D. Martinez smacks a two-run single and all of a sudden the Sox have the lead.
Nine of 12 runs scored by the Sox in the World Series have come with two outs.
David Price and the bullpen did the rest.
Price worked six great innings. Two runs and just three hits. He won for a second straight time in the postseason.
Joe Kelly, Nathan Eovaldi and Craig Kimbrel worked the 7th, 8th and 9th and threw gas.
Sox pitching retired the last 16 batters they saw.
Now the series shifts to LA for games three, four and five if necessary. All the live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
