It turned out to be no contest for the American League Cy Young Award. Cleveland's Corey Kluber beat out Red Sox ace Chris Sale, getting 28 of 30 first place votes.

Kluber is now a two-time winner of the award, winning it back in 2014.

He had 18 wins and a 2.25 ERA.

Sale finished second in the voting. He had 17 wins, 2.90 ERA and 308 strikeouts. Sale got the two first place votes and 28 second place votes.

Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer won the NL Cy Young. It's his third time winning it.
