Koizar, Calixte Lead UM Teams To Wins [VIDEO]

Sigi Koizar scored 24 and Aaron Calixte scored 23 to lead UMaine basketball teams to a sweep of the Hartford Hawks.

The men's team got their win on the road and in overtime, 105-100.

There were 18 lead changes in this one. In fact, the Black Bears were down seven points in overtime before coming back to win on a 12-0 run in OT.

Calixte was one of four UMaine players in double-digit scoring, Til Gloger had 22, Kevin Little 16 andDevine Eke 13.

The win puts Maine at 3-4 in America East, 7-13 overall. Hartford is 2-5, 7-15.

Meanwhile, the UMaine women's team scored a 61-43 win over Hartford at the Cross Center in Bangor. The Black Bears are now 6-1 in AE, 15-7 overall.

Along with Koizar's 24 points, Bella Swan added 14. Liz Wood had 8 points and 12 rebounds.

The Bears now have a 15 game home winning streak.
