Enfield native Matt Mulligan begins his 7th season in the NFL and has just completed his first week of training camp with his new team, the Buffalo Bills.Mulligan is reunited with former Jets head coach Rex Ryan who takes over the Bills this season. The spent three seasons together from 2009 to 2011 so it was no surprise that Ryan and the Bills called Mulligan who was an unrestricted free agent.

Mulligan has now played for 7 teams during his career and is coming back form off-season wrist surgery after getting injured lifting weights this winter at his home in Howland.

Seven tight ends are fighting for a few spots on the roster with Mulligan having the most number of years in the league. Ryan and the Bills will have a run first style of offense and Mulligan has carved out a reputation as a quality blocker at his position.
