J.D. Martinez socked a three-run homer and Chris Sale pitched a solid six innings as the Red Sox beat the Blue Jays last night 5-4.

The Sox win two of the three games vs the Jays and return home with a record of 19-5.

The Sox are also 7-1 in one-run games so far this season.

Martinez had the big hit in the 5th inning, an opposite field line drive homer.

Andrew Benintendi had two hits and a RBI.

Sale was not dominant but won for the second time, giving up three runs in six innings.

The Sox return to Fenway Park tonight after a 6-3 roadtrip to play the Tampa Bay Rays. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket begins at 6:25pm.
