McCallie Bringing Duke Team To Maine

Former University of Maine coach Joanne P. McCallie is bringing her Duke Blue Devils to Bangor this season to take on the UMaine Black Bears.

The UMaine full schedule for the 2018-19 season was released today and it includes 12 home games at the Cross Insurance Center.

The biggie is the Thursday, November 15th matchup between the Bears and the ACC Blue Devils.

Current coach Amy Vachon was a point guard under McCallie at Maine.

Duke was a #5 NCAA seed last year with a 24-5 record. Maine won the America East Conference title and lost to Texas in the NCAAs.
