It seems the New England Patriots kept trying to find ways to lose in Miami and eventually found a way - giving up a 69-yard TD play to the Dolphins as time expired. Miami 34  Patriots 33.

On the final play, QB Ryan Tannehill threw a 14-yard to pass to Kenny Stills, who lateraled it to DeVante Parker, who lateraled to Kenyan Drake and he ran it in for the game winning score.

That play will get much of the attention but the Patriots had many other mistakes that proved costly...

>  Kicker Stephen Gostowski missed a PAT and a field for a total of four points.

> Tom Brady took a sack at the end of the first half with no timeouts left, perhaps costing another three points.

>  The Patriots defense allowed 189 rushing yards, including 92 yards to 34-year-old Frank Gore.

The Pats loss is the fifth loss in the last six games in Miami.

Brady threw for 358 yards and three TDs.

Gronk caught eight passes for 107 yards and a TD. Josh Gorden had five catches for 96 yards. Julien Edelman had nine catches for 86 yards and a TD.
