Monty & The Pioneers Win Nat’l Title [VIDEO]

Not many guys can say they won a NCAA national championship as a player and as a head coach, but Jim Montgomery can now say that. His Denver Pioneers beat Minn-Duluth 3-2 in Chicago Saturday night to capture the Frozen Four title.

Montgomery scored three goals in the UMaine 1992-93 championship game. Now, in his fourth season as Denver coach, he's got another title.

Jarid Lukosevicious scored a hat trick for the Pioneers. The Pioneers finish with a 33-7-4 record.
