David Morrison and Tyler Halls hooked up for three touchdowns as the Husson Eagles went on the road and beat Nichols College 31-7 in a Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup Saturday afternoon.

The victory moves the Eagles into third place in the CCC with a 3-2 record (3-5 overall).

Leading 10-7 at the half, Morrison and Halls went to work with second half TD plays of 63-yards, 16-yards and 21-yards.

Halls caught 11 passes, good for 261 yards.

Shawn Noel Jr. led the ground game with 122 yards on 34 carries.

The Eagles defense held Nichols to just 155 total yards of offense.

Next on the schedule is the final home game of the season, vs Salve Regina (RI), Saturday at noon.
