NAC Hoops: Husson Sweeps MMA

The Husson University Eagles earn a North Atlantic Conference sweep over Maine Maritime Academy. Both hoops teams stay unbeaten in NAC play.

Husson Men 90   MMA 57: The Eagles got scoring from 15 different players in the this one. Raheem Anderson leading in points with 21 in 25 minutes of play. Justin Martin had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Adam Richardson led the Mariners with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Husson is 2-0 in the NAC (4-0 overall). Maine Maritime Academy is 0-2 and 0-5.

Husson Women 58   MMA 50: This one was tied at the end of one quarter. The Eagles had a two point lead at the half. MMA had a one point lead after three quarters.

And then the fourth, Husson outscored the Mariners 16-7.

Kenzie Worcester scored 21 points to lead the Eagles. Emma Alley had 10.

Megan McLean had 15, Alayne Felix had 10 for MMA.

Husson improves to 2-0 NAC (2-2 overall). MMA is 1-1 an d 3-2.
